It’s not all about weddings!

At Thirsk Lodge Barns we are obsessed with weddings!

Having years of experience in planning weddings, we are incredibly passionate about creating the most perfect day for our wonderful couples. On top of that - the space we are creating will have a ceremony licence, as well as a romantic, rustic feel to it and one hell of a dance floor! Therefore, naturally, Thirsk Lodge Bans will lend itself to being a wedding venue… but that isn’t all it is!

Unlike a lot of venues - at Thirsk Lodge Barns will not host back to back weddings. This is because we like couples to have the day before to dress the venue in their own style. In addition to this, the venue is also about supporting our local community, and we are looking to host a range of other events and activities within the venue as well;

Think… yoga classes, cooking demonstrations, life drawing, dance lessons, photography workshops and more…

Think… pop-up dining nights, wine tasting evenings, cocktail workshops or a place to throw an intimate, private dinner party…

Think… conferences, lectures, meetings and other corporate events…

Think… Christenings, birthday parties, charity dos or even colourful kids parties with a bouncing castle in the Main Barn!

In addition to this, we will host Open Days - allowing our suppliers to showcase their work to potential couples, and give people a chance to see the venue buzzing and full.

We also intend to hold craft fairs, Christmas markets and food markets - supporting local artisans and encouraging the Shop Local campaign.
